On the 3d of September, 2010, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Serbia V.Nedopas met with the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia M.Bugarin.

During the meeting the perspectives of developing economic and trade cooperation between the businessmen of both state as well as the opportunities for organizing the Ukrainian-Serbian Business Forum along with the third session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Serbian Committee on Trade and Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

The Sides pointed out the dynamics in trade and economic cooperation between two states and underlined that the organization of the business forum linked to the third meeting of the Committee would provide with new opportunities for establishing cooperation between the businessmen of two states.

M.Bugarin expressed his confidence that in future the mutual trade between Ukraine and Serbia could reach 2 billions of US dollars, and confirmed the interest of Serbian companies in participation in the investments projects in terms of preparation for the final part of Championship of Europe in football “Euro-2012” in Ukraine.

As a result of the meeting, the Sides have agreed to organize a Ukrainian-Serbian Business Forum linked to the meeting of the Committee with support from the Chamber of Trade and Commerce of Ukraine and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, as well as bilateral negotiations of the businessmen of both states.
