On the 5th of September, 2012, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Serbia organized official reception on the occasion of Independence Day of Ukraine.

The guests of the reception were the President of the Republic of Serbia T.Nikolic, President of the National Assembly (parliament) of Serbia N.Stefanovic, Minister of Culture and Information B.Petkovic, Minister of Justice and State Regulation N.Selakovic, His Beatitude Patriarch of Serbia Irinej, representatives of Serbian business, media, Ukrainian and Ruthenian Diaspora in Serbia.

The President of Serbia has assured the Ambassador of Ukraine that he considers Ukraine as the friendly Slavik state and is going to further develop bilateral relation with our country in all spheres.

In his address Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Serbia V.Nedopas has informed guests on the main achievements of Ukraine for the years of independence.
