On 17th of May, 2012 Ambassador o Ukraine to the Republic of Serba took part in the celebration of Ukrainian Diaspora Day in Serbia.

Episcope of Krizhevecka eparchy of Greek-Catholic church J.Djudjar, Head of National Council of Ukrainian National Minority in Serbia J.Sapun, Head of Temporary Executive organ of Kula Z.Kovac, representatives of the local administrations, priests of Greek-Catholic church, Ukrainian-Ruthenina Diaspora in Serbia, journalists also took part in celebrations.

In his address Ambassador read a letter for Ukrainian Diaspora from the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine R.Demchenko with congratulations and thanks for their work on establishing positive image of Ukraine in Serbia, Balkan region and in the world as well as promoting deep ties of Ukrainian Diaspora all over the world.

The organizers of the event pointed out the main cultural data which are celebrated in Ukraine in may this year – anniversaries of birth of writer M.Stelmah, composer K.Stecenko, politician P.Doroshenko, sculptor O.Arhipenko.
